Durante Rentals Closing Operations Due to Coronavirus
Dear Valued Customer –
We hope everyone is in good health and keeping busy during these difficult times. As a company, our number one priority is the health and safety of our employees and customers. As a result, we have decided to err on the side of caution and are proactively closing operations and all rental facilities for the remainder of this week due to health concerns caused by the Coronavirus. We’re optimistic that other local businesses will follow our lead in hopes of limiting exposure to this dangerous virus.
We understand that some of you are still working and in need of our services. Durante has always been there for our customers during tough times, and our promise is to be there for you as soon as this pandemic is under control. We are closely monitoring the news and quickly adopting suggestions being made by the CDC and local authorities.
The Durante team will continue to take every precaution necessary to ensure our employees, equipment, and facilities are safe and virus free. Up to this point, we have instituted extreme sanitizing protocols at all branches, instructed any employees with pre-existing medical issues to stay home, adopted a “no-handshake” policy, and are urging any staff member that can work remotely from home to do so.
Again, while some of these measures may seem extreme at this time, they are being instituted with the health of our employees, customers, and communities in mind.
We will officially be closing operations the remainder of this week due to the coronavirus and will not be accepting any new orders or delivering equipment. The phone lines will remain open during this time by our remote workforce to support our first responders and other critical support services. We will post another update by this weekend concerning business hours for the following week.
In the meantime, if you have equipment on rent that is no longer needed, please call off the equipment by emailing your rental coordinator. We ask that you please include a photo of the hour meter to avoid incurring additional rental charges.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation during these uncertain times. We are sure things will be back to normal sooner than later. When they do, please allow us to continue to serve all your equipment needs.
