Position Tasks & Responsibilities:
Data Analysis
- Fundamental understanding of SQL, Crystal Reporting, and building daily dashboards
- Candidate must have a medium to strong comprehension on Excel (Index Match, Sumifs, V/H Lookups, Interlinking Spreadsheets)
- Report and analyze large sets of data to support monthly KPI’s and Operating Reviews
- Provide meaningful and actionable analysis
- Assist in creating automated reports for daily distribution throughout the entire Organization
- Ability to present clearly and concisely to an audience
- Ability to derive a conclusion from incomplete and/or conflicting data
Financial Analysis
- Fundamental understanding of financial statements
- Ability to update monthly forecast model with actuals and provide recommendations
Required Skills: Must possess proficiency in recognizing inefficiencies, creating, understanding and implementing automated reports, communicating clearly and frequently with Senior Analyst, and comfortable asking questions that challenge the status quo. Ideal candidate will be someone that does not just do, but rather respectfully questions if there is a better way to do something. Ultimately, you will aid the Senior Analyst in providing real-time data and recommendations to our Chief Operating Officer, an industry Veteran.
Working Conditions: Working conditions will be in an office environment. Candidate must be humble and willing to learn by doing. Whether that be shadowing a driver, yard staff, or back-office employee, you must be comfortable fully understanding the business outside of your computer screen.
Education, Skills & Requirements:
- BA in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or Economics preferred
- Participate in extracurricular activities
- Organized and prefers to work in a meticulous manner
- Highest degree of ethics
- Ownership and Accountability
- Ability to prioritize tasks without getting overwhelmed
- Must be technologically proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
