    Rent Welders from Durante Rentals

At Durante Rentals, we rent welders intended for all types of welding processes including the three most popular – MIG Welding, TIG Welding and Shielded Metal Arc Welding, also known as Stick Welding.

Our portable welders are well suited for welding aluminum, stainless steel, mild steel, titanium, copper, brass, and various other types of metals. Our welders are perfect for job-site or remote-area service applications, field maintenance and repair, or for home applications.

    RENTALS – SALES – PARTS – SERVICE – TRAINING
Our rental welders are dual welders/AC generators allowing the operator to weld and draw AC power (recharge) simultaneously. Our large rental fleet consists of 180 amp gas and 400 amp diesel units (some units available on trailers).

Our welders are lightweight for easy transport and portability. If you can’t pick it up yourself, we offer same-day delivery for a reasonable fee. We can deliver your welder just about anywhere in the NY Tri-state including the Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, New York City, Staten Island, New Jersey, Connecticut, Westchester, Long Island, Putnam, and Rockland. Save time and money. Rent your welders from Durante Rentals today!

MIG Welding vs. TIG Welding vs. Stick Welding
MIG Welding (Metal Inert Gas) – MIG Welding is the best choice for general fabrication of steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. It’s main advantage over other types of welding is it’s speed and the ability of the operator to tack weld using only one hand. It can however only weld thin to medium thick metals. MIG Welding is widely recognized as the easiest type of welding to learn.

TIG Welding (Tungsten Inert Gas) – TIG Welding is best used for welding stainless steel, aluminum, magnesium, nickel alloys, cobalt, titanium and copper alloys. TIG welding can achieve the highest quality of welds. It is the most versatile of welding techniques in terms of what metals can be welded and positioning of the welds. Welds can be left “as is” with no need for subsequent grinding, avoiding unnecessary noise and dust.

Stick Welding (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) – Stick welding is the most popular and the most basic of welding processes. It is used primarily to weld iron steel, stainless steel, aluminum, nickel and copper alloys. It is considered to be the “easiest” option when welding two pieces of metal together. Stick welding is reliable, inexpensive, and versatile. It is the preferred method of welding outdoors since it is not affected by minor adverse weather conditions like a misty rain or gusty wind.
